Freelance Software Enginee

Role Description The Freelance Software Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Noida. The engineer will design, develop, and maintain software solutions that support community platforms, tools, and internal systems, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and clean architecture. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing and reviewing code, implementing back-end services and APIs, integrating third-party systems, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions. The role also involves troubleshooting and debugging issues, optimizing performance, documenting technical designs, and participating in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives. The engineer will work closely with product and creative teams to ensure that technology supports the community’s engagement, visibility, and collaboration goals.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong foundational knowledge in Computer Science and core Software Development principles.
• Candidates should possess practical skills in Back-End Web Development, including server-side programming and API design.
• Candidates should possess solid Programming skills, with experience in one or more modern programming languages.
• Candidates should possess a clear understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and their application in production code.
• Relevant skills such as experience with databases, version control (e.g., Git), and software testing practices are highly beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in Noida, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly in English.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience building or supporting community platforms, web applications, or digital products is an advantage.
