Position: Head of Finance / Finance Controller

Reporting To: Managing Director & Group Chief Financial Officer

Location: Hosur, Tamil Nadu

Compensation: Rs.70 - 75 LPA + excellent growth options

Notice Period: Immediate / Short Joiners Only Max 1530 days ( buy-out not acceptable).

Position Overview

Our Client is seeking a high-caliber, strategic, and agile financial leader to head their corporate finance, accounting, and regulatory reporting functions. Operating at the leadership level, will act as a crucial bridge between day-to-day financial governance and corporate strategy. Reporting directly to MD and Group CFO, will drive financial discipline, optimize capital structure, spearhead automation and provide data-driven insights to accelerate business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Leadership & Planning

• Executive Advisory: Partner with the MD and Group CFO to formulate long-term business strategies, evaluate expansions and financial regulations.
• Annual Operating Plans : Lead the corporate budgeting, forecasting and long-range financial planning exercises across business units.
• Working Capital & Cash Flow: Optimize cash flow management, treasury operations, and capital allocation to maximize ROI and ensure liquidity.

Financial Reporting & Governance

• Leadership Reporting: Design and deliver high-impact monthly/quarterly financial dashboards, MIS and variance analyses for the MD and Group CFO review.
• Statutory Compliance: Ensure flawless execution of statutory audits, internal controls and adherence to IndAS / IFRS accounting standards, complex corporate taxation, advanced financial modeling and large-scale ERP workflows.
• Taxation & Regulatory: Oversee direct and indirect tax strategies, transfer pricing and compliance with all central and state regulatory frameworks.

Process Automation & Team Management

• Digital Transformation: Lead the migration, upgrading or optimization of ERP systems and implement business intelligence tools for real-time financial tracking.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

• Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory. An additional CS / CMA is a strong plus.
• Experience: 20 to 25 years of post-qualification experience with at least 5 years in a significant leadership role ( CFO / VP / Head of Finance ) managing large balance sheets.
• Industry Background: Must possess strong experience in manufacturing industries
• Reporting Pedigree: Proven experience directly facing or reporting to CXO/Board levels, presenting financial complexities in simple, actionable business terms.
