Key Responsibilities

Pollution and Water Control: Manage effluent treatment plants and sewage treatment plants, monitoring water discharge limits and maintaining liquid discharge.

Waste Management: Handle solid, and packaging waste while enforcing plastic waste management rules and extended producer responsibility

Regulatory Compliance: Secure environmental permits, consents to operate, and liaise with state pollution control boards.

Food Industry Safety: Align environmental health and safety practices with food hygiene protocols and manage safe chemical storage for sanitation.

Sustainability Initiatives: Drive corporate environmental, Social, targets, lower carbon footprints, and conduct periodic environmental audits.
