Molex is seeking a dynamic HW design Engineer to be part of our strong Engineering Team to develop new products that we are bringing to market.xa0 You will be a part of our cross functional team and collaborate internationally with our design teams

What You Will Do

xb7xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Develop wireless charging solutions from concept to prototypes.Added advantage if any experience into wireless power transferring products, inductive coil design etc.

xb7xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Experience with design for EMC compliance and related EMI issue resolution

xb7xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Experience in board bring-up and prototype testing

xb7xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Experience on communication protocols like CAN, LIN, I2C & SPI etc.

xb7xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Experience with schematic capture and layout techniques using Altium Designer.

xb7xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Strong background of design support tools, including simulation, WCCA (worst case circuit analysis), DFMEA, design reviews,

xb7xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Thorough documentation and revision control practices

xb7xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Create custom electrical/electronic designs for automotive applications

xb7xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Create/complete block diagrams, schematics, PCB layout, component selection, worst case circuit analysis, testing, and design verification

xb7xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Develop design validation plans (DVP), obtain customer approval, and initiate all laboratory, bench, and simulated product-tests in compliance with the DVP

xb7xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Support customeru2019s in-vehicle tests on electrical hardware systems

xb7xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Use risk reduction tools to perform simulations

xb7xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Use knowledge of material costs and costing processes to determine the impact on designs

xb7xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Design for maximum cost effectiveness while meeting all customer performance requirements

xb7xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Ensure that the product design complies with all product requirements and final customer specifications

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

xb7xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Bachelors or masteru2019s in engineering in the field of Electrical / Electronics & Communications Engineering or equivalent

xb7xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 8+ years of experience in hands on automotive electronic product design and development.

xb7xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Interface with the intra departmental development teams such as electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, quality, and marketing

xb7xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Support mechanical engineering, manufacturing, and quality in the development and implementation of work instructions for new and ongoing products

xb7xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Interface with customers and other Molex engineering groups and suppliers

xb7xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Lead design review meetings

xb7xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Understand, support, and contribute to current Molex Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, International Standards Organization (ISO) and Environmental, and/or Health and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems by following stated policies and procedures
