Qualification & Experience

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering with minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Valid Electrical Supervisor’s Certificate of Competency (SCC), issued by the West Bengal Licensing Board, Government of West Bengal, with competency covering 11 kV electrical installations.
• Experience in 11 kV switchgear maintenance and power distribution network maintenance.
• Experience in erection, testing and commissioning of HT/LT switchgear, MCCs and PDBs.
• Experience in preparation and interpretation of SLDs, electrical interlock diagrams and control logic documentation.

Experience in coordination and liaison with electrical contractors.

Key Electrical Design Responsibilities

• Preparation/review of SLDs, load schedules and electrical equipment specifications.
• Preparation/review of cable schedules, cable sizing and voltage-drop calculations.
• Preparation/review of MCC/PDB/DB schedules and electrical layouts.
• Preparation/review of earthing and lightning protection layouts.
• Development/review of electrical interlock and control logic diagrams.
• Review of electrical equipment datasheets, technical specifications and vendor drawings.
• Coordination with civil, Mechanical and instrumentation engineering disciplines for electrical requirements.
• Support for testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
