Role Description The Electrical and Electronics role at COLLEGE is a full-time, on-site position based in Kumbakonam. The individual in this role will teach undergraduate courses in electrical and electronics engineering, design and deliver lectures, supervise laboratory sessions, and guide students in projects and practical assignments. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing course materials, assessing student performance, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring adherence to safety standards. The role also involves mentoring students, participating in departmental meetings, contributing to curriculum development, and engaging in academic or applied research activities where applicable. Collaboration with colleagues, support for academic events, and active participation in quality improvement initiatives are expected.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in core electrical concepts, including Electricity and Electrical Engineering.
• Ability to design and evaluate electrical systems, with skills in Electrical Design and Electrical Equipment.
• Knowledge of Power Generation principles and their practical applications in modern electrical systems.
• Relevant academic qualification in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or closely related field (e.g., Bachelor’s or Master’s degree).
• Prior teaching, training, or academic experience in an engineering or technical institution is preferred.
• Effective communication, classroom management, and mentoring skills, with the ability to support diverse learners.
• Proficiency in using educational technology and basic engineering software tools related to electrical and electronics disciplines.
• Commitment to professional ethics, student safety, and continuous skill development in emerging electrical and electronics technologies.
