• Handle end-to-end Ocean Export customer service activities from booking confirmation to shipment departure.
• Receive and process customer booking requests and coordinate with the operations team for shipment execution.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, NVOCCs, transporters, CHA/customs brokers and overseas agents.
• Prepare and verify export shipment documentation, including Shipping Bill, Bill of Lading, commercial invoice, packing list and other relevant documents.
• Coordinate for container booking, equipment availability, empty container release and cargo movement.
• Monitor cut-off dates, vessel schedules, SI submission deadlines and documentation timelines.
• Follow up with customers for Shipping Instructions (SI), VGM and other required shipment details.
• Coordinate with the documentation team for timely preparation and submission of export documents.
• Track shipment status and proactively communicate updates, delays or operational issues to customers.
• Ensure timely Bill of Lading / Sea Waybill release as per customer and shipping-line requirements.
• Coordinate with overseas offices/agents for pre-alerts and shipment-related documentation.
• Resolve customer queries related to shipment status, documentation, schedules, delays and operational issues.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and update relevant information in the ERP / TMS / CRM system.
• Coordinate with the billing team for accurate and timely invoicing.
• Monitor pending shipments and ensure timely closure of open operational/customer service issues.
• Handle customer escalations and work closely with internal stakeholders to provide effective resolutions.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, customer requirements and applicable export regulations.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and provide proactive service throughout the shipment lifecycle.
