Deputy Branch Manager

Responsibilities

Coordinate daily branch operations to ensure seamless service delivery and regulatory compliance across all customer channels.

Lead sales and service initiatives to achieve branch targets while maintaining excellent customer experience.

Advise on risk controls and security practices to protect assets and minimize loss exposure.

Oversee cash management processes, vault operations, and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and accountability.

Develop and mentor frontline staff to build capabilities in customer engagement, product knowledge, and issue resolution.

Monitor clearance of customer requests and approvals, ensuring timely decisions aligned with policy and risk appetite.

Collaborate with product teams to tailor financial solutions that meet local market needs and growth opportunities.

Manage customer onboarding and KYC processes to maintain compliance with banking regulations.

Analyze branch metrics and provide actionable insights to optimize operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Foster strong community relationships to expand the bank’s presence and reputation in the Chennai market.

Coordinate cross-functional initiatives with regional leaders to implement best practices and standardize processes.

Resolve complex customer complaints with empathy, delivering sustainable resolutions and retaining loyalty.
