Deal Lead

Policies, Processes & Procedures

• Collaborate with Relationship Management groups to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures
• Implement policies and processes, including operational, regulatory, financial, informational, reputational, and audit risks, to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements
• Develop and maintain internal control systems within the department to mitigate risks and ensure adherence to policies and procedures
• Participate in departmental audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and identify areas for improvement.
• Implement corrective actions and practices to address gaps identified during departmental audits, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory requirements

Underwriting & Deal Structuring

• Continuous scanning of loan syndication opportunities in the sector in close co-ordination with the Bank’s relationship and credit team
• Identify Groups for underwriting
• Develop deal structures and negotiate terms in line with prevailing market dynamics

Deal Advisory

• Responsibility for ensuring development of sectoral knowledge
• Provide advisory services, tailoring structures to meet client and investor requirements, with or without use of the Bank's Balance Sheet
• Efficient structuring of transactions to arrive at a saleable proposal

Documentation and Compliance

• Ensure adherence to established guidelines and maintenance of highest quality standards of documentation, client communication, process compliance.

Works in close coordination with relevant BUs to ensure smooth and quick turnaround of transactions as and when required.
