Customer Service Representative - Pharma Sales

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Customer Service Representative specializing in Pharma Sales to join our team in the Mumbai Region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in the area of excipients and active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). This role is crucial in ensuring that our clients receive exceptional service and support while navigating our product offerings.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to clients in the pharmaceutical sector, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for growth within the territory and assist in the execution of sales strategies.
• Educate clients on our product range, including excipients and APIs, to facilitate informed purchasing decisions.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in our CRM system.
• Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge to effectively communicate with clients and provide relevant solutions.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in customer service, preferably within the pharmaceutical or specialty chemical industries.
• Strong knowledge of excipients and active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant tools to manage customer relationships.
