Cross Border Tech Compliance Adviso

Role Description The Cross Border Tech Compliance Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in the Mohali district. This position focuses on monitoring and advising on technology-related regulatory requirements affecting cross-border data flows, digital services, and healthcare information systems. The advisor reviews systems, processes, and vendor relationships to ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies, and prepares guidance, reports, and documentation for stakeholders. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with IT, legal, security, and operations teams to assess compliance risks, recommending mitigation measures, and supporting audits and regulatory inquiries. The role also involves staying current with emerging regulations, conducting training on compliance standards, and contributing to the design of compliant technology solutions and processes.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of technology, data protection, and cross-border regulatory frameworks, particularly in healthcare or insurance.
• Experience collaborating with IT, legal, security, and operational teams to implement compliance controls and procedures.
• Ability to analyze complex technical and regulatory information and translate it into clear, practical guidance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports, documentation, and training materials.
• Proven organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in law, information technology, compliance, business, or a related field; advanced certifications in compliance, risk management, or data privacy (e.g., CIPP, CIPM, or equivalent) are beneficial.
• Prior experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, or governance within a technology-driven or healthcare environment is preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethical practices, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in an on-site, team-based setting in Mohali district.
