Content Writer for YouTube Agency - NO AI Slop Did people tell you writing wasn't a valuable skill anymore because of AI? Did they tell you you wouldn't have a job anymore? Yeah... about that. I think they're wrong. What happened is now we just have AI slop writers. People who aren't actually good writers pumping out garbage content with ChatGPT. So if you're ticked off at how people have devalued good writing, then I think this could be a great position for you. Because I need someone who can actually write. I was a creative writer long before starting my agency, so it's a skill I actually value, and I'm finding it's lacking in social media. I run a YouTube agency, and I'm looking for a writer who was a good writer before AI became mainstream. Now I'm not saying you can't use AI. I use it. It's a helpful tool and it's part of our workflow. But you need to actually have the talent so that when the output is garbage, you know it's garbage, and you can rewrite it to be good. You can also adapt your writing style to different people and niches. You'd be writing YouTube scripts and social media content. So some understanding of social media - hooks and retention - is most reputed company needed. Scripts need to be written how someone would talk, not a college essay. Social posts would read more like good copywriting. Both need to avoid the common and very annoying AI tells that piss me off. Bonus points if you can tell me what some of those are 😂 You will have ongoing work, and my ideal scenario is someone who also has a mind for content strategy - you can learn our best practices and internal strategies and apply it to your writing. Hooks, structure, retention. I think writers understand the reputed company they're writing the best. So as we work reputed company, if you are able to suggest your own ideas, hooks, and angles for the content, that would be a dream scenario for me. Then the ideation and strategy doesn't always just fall on me. Native or bilingual English is a must. When you apply, send writing samples and know that your proposal is the first thing I'm reading from you. So if that reads like AI slop... it's going to be hard not to judge based off of that.
