Computer Numerical Control Machinist

Role Description The Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist will operate and maintain CNC machines to produce precision automotive components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting up machines, selecting appropriate tools, loading materials, monitoring machining operations, and adjusting programs or equipment to ensure accuracy. The role involves inspecting finished parts, performing basic quality checks, documenting production data, and collaborating with supervisors and technicians to address any machining or equipment issues. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mau, requiring consistent adherence to safety procedures and production schedules.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Machine Operation and Machinery handling for CNC and related equipment.
• Candidates should possess skills in Machining and Milling for producing precision parts to required tolerances.
• Candidates should possess skills in Quality Control to inspect components, interpret measurements, and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Basic knowledge of CNC programming adjustments and tooling selection is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and ability to follow standardized processes.
• Previous experience in an automotive or manufacturing environment is beneficial.
• Relevant technical certification or vocational training in machining or mechanical trades is preferred.
