Commercial Lines Underwriting Assistant FULLY REMOTE

FULLY REMOTE FROM ANYWHERE (within USA).

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Insurance Assistant Underwriter for a fully remote role that can be based out of anywhere USA. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the commercial insurance executive team.

Responsibilities

Support the Commercial Lines Executive team across a variety of job functions.

Assist in reviewing policies and working with carriers, as well as billing and invoicing.

Analyze client insurance programs and recommend appropriate coverage enhancements or adjustments

Identify gaps in coverage including account rounding, cross selling and upselling opportunities.

Identify pricing discrepancies

Help prepare proposals

Help process policy endorsements, certificates of insurance, and other administrative tasks accurately and efficiently

Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and development of new insurance products to identify potential business opportunities

Qualifications & Experience

Current property and casualty license

1-2+ Years of experience preferred in commercial underwriting related role

Background in assistant underwriting or assistant account management with a strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and coverages

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with colleagues

Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

AIM & Imageright experience preferred
