Cloud Engineer (AWS)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced AWS Engineer with 8+ years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, AWS services, automation, deployment, and DevOps practices. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing scalable and highly available AWS environments.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of overall IT experience with strong AWS/cloud infrastructure experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS.
• Good knowledge of EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, ELB, Route 53, CloudWatch, Lambda.
• Experience with Terraform / CloudFormation.
• Strong understanding of Linux/Unix administration.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes/EKS is preferred.
• Good understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Strong scripting knowledge in Shell/Python.
• Good understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing, VPN, Security Groups, and NACLs.
• Experience with cloud security, IAM, encryption, and access management.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, AWS DevOps Engineer, or AWS SysOps Administrator.
• Experience working in enterprise-scale AWS environments.
• Knowledge of microservices and containerized applications.
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring and observability tools.
