JOB DESCRIPTION – CAMERAMAN WITH CAMERA

About the Role

Aarambh News is looking for a skilled and responsible Cameraman with own professional camera setup to cover news events, interviews, press conferences, field reports, and other assignments.

Key Responsibilities

• Cover news events, breaking news, interviews, press conferences, and outdoor assignments.
• Operate professional video cameras and related equipment effectively.
• Capture high-quality, stable and well-composed video footage.
• Coordinate with reporters and the editorial team during field assignments.
• Ensure proper audio, lighting, framing and camera settings.
• Transfer and organize footage properly after assignments.
• Be available for urgent/breaking-news coverage when required.
• Maintain and take proper care of camera and other equipment.
• Follow professional and ethical standards while covering news.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience as a News Cameraman / Video Journalist preferred.
• Good knowledge of professional cameras, lenses, microphones, lights and accessories.
• Understanding of video composition, exposure, focus, white balance and audio recording.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel locally for news assignments.

Experience

Preferred: 1–3 years of experience in news/media/video production.

Freshers with strong camera skills may also be considered.
