CAD Product Designer (Alipore)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced CAD Product Designer / 3D Printing Engineer with strong mechanical design and product development skills. The candidate will be responsible for designing functional, modular storage systems using professional CAD software and optimizing designs for commercial FDM 3D printing.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop accurate 3D CAD models of physical products based on measurements and specifications.
• Design modular components, storage inserts, trays, dividers, and assemblies.
• Create parametric and editable CAD designs with appropriate tolerances and clearances.
• Develop prototypes, conduct fit testing, and make necessary design modifications.
• Optimize designs for commercial FDM 3D printing and Bambu Lab printers.
• Prepare production-ready files, technical drawings, and assembly documentation.
• Maintain proper file organization, version control, and revision history.
• Ensure designs are suitable for manufacturing and maintain product functionality.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience in Mechanical CAD Design and Product Engineering.
• Proficiency in Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Onshape, Inventor, or similar CAD software.
• Robust knowledge of parametric modelling and mechanical assemblies.
• Experience with FDM 3D printing and Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM).
• Knowledge of tolerances, clearances, and product prototyping.
• Experience with Bambu Lab printers and Bambu Studio will be an advantage.
• Ability to convert physical measurements into accurate, functional CAD models.
