About the Opportunity

Farm Technique Engineers Consultant Private Limited is inviting applications on behalf of our partner organization, V.N. Group of Industries, for the position of CAD/CAM Machine Designer.

The role is ideal for professionals with experience in machine design, fabrication drawings, 3D modelling, and manufacturing documentation, especially in the food-processing and agricultural machinery sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare 2D drawings and 3D machine models
• Develop fabrication and assembly drawings
• Design sheet-metal parts and machine components
• Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials) and manufacturing documentation
• Support production and fabrication coordination
• Assist in machine-development and design improvement
• Ensure design accuracy for manufacturing and installation

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and 3D CAD software
• Proficiency in SolidWorks / Creo / Inventor or equivalent
• Understanding of CAM, CNC, machining, and fabrication processes
• Knowledge of engineering drawings, tolerances, fits, and component selection
• Ability to prepare detailed technical and production drawings
• Good problem-solving and coordination skills

Qualification

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in

• Mechanical Engineering
• Agricultural Engineering
• Production Engineering
• Related Engineering Discipline

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience in food-processing machinery
• Experience in agricultural machinery design
• Familiarity with manufacturing workflow
• Ability to work with design, fabrication, and production teams
• Practical understanding of machine assembly and shop-floor requirements
