Buyer

Role Description The Buyer at YouTube is a full-time, on-site role based in Raigarh. This role is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and purchasing goods and services that support YouTube’s operations, content initiatives, and office needs. Day-to-day tasks include identifying suppliers, negotiating pricing and contract terms, managing purchase orders, tracking delivery schedules, and ensuring compliance with internal procurement policies. The Buyer collaborates closely with cross-functional teams such as operations, finance, and production to forecast demand, optimize inventory levels, and support cost-effective procurement decisions. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, analyzing spend data, and recommending process improvements to enhance efficiency and value.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in purchasing, vendor management, and negotiation, with the ability to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, including experience with spreadsheets and procurement or ERP systems.
• Knowledge of supply chain, inventory management, and basic contract management practices.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in corporate or media/technology procurement is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Raigarh and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
