Intake Associate – Pharmacovigilance

Job Role & Responsibilities

The Intake Associate will support country-level Pharmacovigilance activities, ensuring that local adverse event reports are appropriately collected, documented, assessed, and processed.

Key responsibilities include

•

Manage the collection, documentation, and processing of local Adverse Event (AE) reports from all sources in accordance with national legislation and Baxter procedures.

•

Perform safety surveillance activities to identify potential new safety information and escalate findings according to established procedures.

•

Conduct local case triage, including validity assessment and duplicate checks.

•

Forward cases to internal and external partners when required.

•

Perform case intake within the Pharmacovigilance Safety System (PSS).

•

Respond to queries from the global case-processing team.

•

Redact source documents when necessary and ensure all source documentation is captured in PSS.

•

Perform local quality checks as required.

•

Download cases from Health Authorities when required.

•

Carry out other activities assigned to support Safety Operations.

Eligibility & Qualifications

Candidates with an academic background in Science, Pharmacy, or a related field can apply. Applicants with at least 3 years of Pharmacovigilance experience may also meet the stated qualification requirement.

B.Pharm, M.Pharm, Pharm.D, B.Sc. Life Sciences, M.Sc. Life Sciences, Clinical Research or related qualifications.
