Associate Director, Financial Planning & Analysis

The Role: We are looking for a dynamic finance leader who can balance strategic thinking with execution excellence while partnering closely with business and finance leadership. The incumbent will be responsible for managing a large business portfolio, driving financial performance, leading budgeting and forecasting processes, providing commercial and contract finance support, and enabling strategic decision-making through insightful financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the financial performance and profitability of a large revenue portfolio, with full P&L responsibility.
• Lead financial planning processes including annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, monthly operating reviews, and long-range strategic planning.
• Drive financial reporting to Country Management and Global Finance teams, providing analytical insights to improve business performance.
• Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities for revenue growth, margin expansion, and cost optimization.
• Support contract finance activities including contract review, profitability analysis, pricing evaluations, renewals, and commercial decision support.
• Conduct detailed contract and customer profitability analysis to support business decisions and improve portfolio performance.
• Build, manage, and monitor operating budgets while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
• Proactively identify financial, operational, and commercial risks and provide recommendations to leadership for risk mitigation.
• Develop and maintain robust forecasting models and financial planning processes to improve predictability and decision-making.
• Interface with senior business leaders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable financial strategies.
• Coordinate with global finance counterparts and business stakeholders to ensure alignment of financial plans, reporting, and business priorities.
• Drive business reviews with leadership by providing meaningful financial analysis and actionable recommendations.
• Establish and operate reliable, timely, and consistent financial reporting systems and processes for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, financial controls, governance requirements, and accounting standards.
• Lead strategic finance projects and initiatives focused on achieving business and financial objectives.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of 5–6 finance professionals, fostering a high performance and collaborative work environment.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships across Finance, Operations, Sales, Delivery, and Executive Leadership teams.

Profile & Experience

• Extensive experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, Business Finance, or Financial Management, preferably within IT Services, BPM, BPO, Shared Services, or related industries.
• Proven experience managing large business portfolios with ownership of P&L and financial performance.
• Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, management reporting, and business partnering.
• Experience in contract finance, commercial analysis, pricing support, and profitability management.
• Demonstrated ability to identify business risks and effectively communicate recommendations to senior leadership.
• Experience leading and developing teams, with prior people management experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial controls, governance, compliance, and business performance management.
• Experience working in a global, matrixed environment and coordinating with international stakeholders.
