Assistant Manager / Manager - Statutory Audit

We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) for the position of Assistant Manager / Manager - Statutory Audit. This role is pivotal in leading statutory audit assignments and ensuring compliance with accounting and auditing standards. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership to define and execute audit strategies, manage timelines, and address any technical issues that may arise during the audit process.

Key responsibilities include conducting thorough technical research to assess audit risks, supervising and mentoring junior team members, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive audit coverage. The role also involves building and maintaining strong client relationships, representing the firm in client interactions, and participating in firm-wide quality initiatives and knowledge sharing.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards, including Ind AS, SA, and IFRS. Demonstrated leadership and client management skills are essential, along with effective communication abilities, both written and verbal. The candidate should be highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple engagements in a dynamic environment. Experience in mentoring and developing junior professionals is also a key requirement.
