AIF Operations Executive / Associate

We are seeking an AIF Operations Executive / Associate to join our team in Mumbai. This role is crucial for supporting the day-to-day operations of a Category III Alternative Investment Fund (AIF). The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure the smooth functioning of our investment management operations.

Key responsibilities include handling investor onboarding processes, managing KYC documentation, and overseeing subscriptions and redemptions. You will coordinate with various service providers such as the Registrar and Transfer Agent (RTA), custodian, fund accountant, banks, and brokers to ensure seamless transaction processing and reconciliations. In addition, you will assist in the preparation and review of Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations, maintain investor statements and capital account records, and perform bank, cash, and portfolio reconciliations while following up on any discrepancies.

Tracking fund expenses and management fees, maintaining fund-related records, and preparing Management Information Systems (MIS) reports and investor reports will also be part of your responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a background in AIF, PMS, mutual funds, fund accounting, or custody operations, with a strong understanding of Category III AIF operations. Familiarity with RTA platforms such as CAMS, experience in investor onboarding and KYC processes, and knowledge of bank and custodian reconciliation are preferred.

A basic understanding of Indian financial markets will be beneficial. This is a full-time position with working hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM. If you are passionate about investment management and meet the qualifications, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
