Position: Agri Field Officer – Procurement & Raw Material Quality

Reports to: Sourcing & Agricultural Operations Lead

Location: Hyderabad / Mahabubnagar region, Telangana

Experience: 0–3 years

Qualification: B.Sc. Agriculture / B.Sc. Horticulture or related agricultural

qualification

ABOUT THE ROLE

Ariv Biosciences is building a standardized botanical ingredient business where raw-

material quality begins at the farm.

We are looking for an Agriculture graduate who can combine practical field work with

procurement discipline and attention to raw-material quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate procurement of Moringa leaf from approved farmers and suppliers.

Coordinate harvest schedules, collection and transportation.

Verify quantities received and maintain procurement records.

Observe and assess raw-material quality at field and collection level.

Check freshness, maturity, colour, foreign matter, visible contamination, pest/disease

damage and handling conditions.

Collect representative samples according to SOPs.

Ensure samples are correctly labelled and traceable.

Coordinate sample movement and testing with laboratories.

Maintain quality and supplier-performance records.

Identify recurring quality issues and work with farmer-relations colleagues to address

root causes.

Communicate Ariv’s quality specifications clearly to farmers and suppliers.

Escalate quality deviations or supply risks promptly.

Coordinate closely with processing, QC, logistics and sourcing teams.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

B.Sc. Agriculture / related qualification.

Strong interest in agricultural raw materials and quality.

Comfortable spending significant time in the field.

Detail-oriented and disciplined with records.

Strong observation skills.

Honest and uncompromising on quality.

Good communication and negotiation skills.

Comfortable travelling across Telangana.

Telugu proficiency strongly preferred.

Able to use basic digital tools for reporting.

Fresh graduates with strong practical orientation are encouraged to apply.

acceptable for Ariv, why or why not, and what can we change at farm level to

consistently improve quality?”
