Role Description The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and preparing periodic financial statements for babu enterprises frozen & non frozen. Responsibilities include overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable, reconciling bank statements, monitoring cash flow, and assisting with budgeting and cost control for frozen and non-frozen product lines. The role also includes ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies, as well as supporting audits and preparing necessary documentation. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chittoor, requiring regular coordination with operations, procurement, and management to provide accurate, timely financial insights.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance with relevant tax and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheets, including data entry, reconciliation, and basic financial analysis.
• Attention to detail, accuracy in maintaining records, and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with operations, procurement, and management teams on-site.
• Relevant academic background such as a degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Prior experience in accounting within trading, distribution, or FMCG sectors is an advantage.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet reporting deadlines.
