Academic Coordinator (Pre-Primary to Middle Grades)

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee curriculum implementation from Pre-Primary to Middle grades
• Prepare and monitor academic calendars, timetables, lesson plans, and assessment schedules
• Conduct regular classroom observations and give constructive feedback to teachers
• Mentor and train teachers, and organise orientation and professional development sessions
• Ensure consistency in teaching methodologies, assessments, and learning outcomes across grades
• Review student progress, analyse results, and recommend improvement strategies
• Coordinate with parents on academic concerns and attend PTMs as required
• Support the Principal in admissions activities, academic events, and school-level reporting
• Maintain academic records and documentation as per school and board requirements

Required Qualifications

• Graduate or Post-Graduate in a relevant discipline
• B.Ed. (mandatory)
• NTT / ECCEd / Montessori certification (preferred, for the Pre-Primary section)

Experience

• Minimum 3-5 years of teaching experience, with at least 1-2 years in a coordinator or supervisory role (preferred)
• Experience in a CBSE or reputed private school is an advantage

Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of early years and primary/middle school pedagogy
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Good command of English and Hindi (spoken and written)
• Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, Google Workspace)
• Ability to manage teams, plan effectively, and work toward deadlines
