3pc Can Line Engineer

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a 3pc Can Line Engineer based in Kheda, Gujarat, India. The 3pc Can Line Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the operation, setup, and adjustment of three-piece can production lines, ensuring optimal efficiency, quality, and safety. Daily tasks include monitoring line performance, identifying and resolving mechanical or process issues, coordinating with maintenance and production teams, and implementing preventive maintenance schedules. The role involves calibrating equipment, checking product parameters against specifications, documenting production data, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and defects. The engineer will also train operators on proper use of machinery, follow all safety and compliance protocols, and liaise with technical support teams when complex issues arise.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Transmission Lines or similar production line systems, including setup, adjustment, and performance monitoring.
• Experience providing Technical Support for manufacturing equipment, with the ability to guide operators and maintenance teams.
• Proven Troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, or process-related issues on high-speed production lines.
• Effective Communication and Networking skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, external vendors, and technical service providers.
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Hands-on experience in can manufacturing, metal packaging, or similar continuous production environments is an advantage.
• Knowledge of safety standards, quality control procedures, and basic preventive maintenance practices.
• Ability to work in shifts, pay attention to detail, and maintain accurate operational and maintenance records.
