Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Writer role based in Kolkata. The Writer will create clear, engaging, and accurate content related to equity markets, investing, and financial analytics for web pages, blogs, app interfaces, learning materials, and marketing collateral. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching market topics, translating complex financial concepts into accessible language, drafting and editing articles or explainer content, and collaborating with research, product, and marketing teams to maintain content consistency. The role also involves aligning content with brand voice, optimizing materials for readability and user engagement, and updating existing content in line with new features, data, and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in simple, clear language.
• Experience in content development for finance, investing, or related domains, including articles, guides, or educational materials.
• Solid research skills and attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy, reliability, and data-driven content.
• Basic understanding of stock markets, fundamental and technical analysis, or willingness to learn quickly.
• Proficiency in English; ability to maintain a consistent tone and style across different formats and platforms.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work closely with cross-functional teams in an on-site environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Journalism, Communications, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Familiarity with digital platforms, SEO principles, and user-centric content design is an added advantage.
