Workato Developer (2–3 Years Experience) (Remote)

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Workato Developer with 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in building enterprise integrations and automations. You will design, build, and maintain recipes that connect various cloud applications and databases. You will work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to streamline workflows and improve data accuracy across our systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Build Recipes: Design, develop, test, and deploy complex recipes and integrations using the Workato platform.
• Connect Systems: Integrate popular enterprise applications like Salesforce, ServiceNow, NetSuite, Jira, Slack, and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Manage Data: Handle data transformations, error handling, and logging within Workato recipes to ensure reliable data flow.
• Collaborate: Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical automation solutions.
• Support and Maintain: Monitor existing integrations, troubleshoot failures, and optimize recipes for better performance and scalability.
• Security & Governance: Follow best practices for workspace management, role-based access control, and secure credential handling.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 2–3 years of professional IT experience, with at least 1.5 to 2 years dedicated to the Workato platform.
• Certifications: Current Workato Automation Pro certification (Level 1 and Level 2) is highly preferred.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, XML, and webhooks.
• Database Skills: Basic SQL knowledge for querying and managing data during integration tasks.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to debug recipe errors and design efficient error-handling frameworks.
• Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with global teams and stakeholders.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
