We are looking for an experienced Graphic Designer who can bring creativity, strong visual communication and a sharp understanding of digital media to our team.

Employment Type: Full-Time

What You’ll Do

• Design engaging graphics for news, social media and digital platforms
• Create visually appealing news posts, breaking-news creatives, thumbnails, banners and promotional designs
• Develop creative designs for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and X
• Work closely with the editorial and content teams to convert news stories and ideas into impactful visual content
• Maintain consistency in SAM TV’s visual identity and branding
• Create designs that are clear, eye-catching and appropriate for a professional news brand
• Handle multiple design requirements while meeting deadlines

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of professional graphic design experience
• Strong command of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Knowledge of Canva and other modern design tools will be an advantage
• Good understanding of typography, colour, composition and visual hierarchy
• Experience designing for news media, digital media, social media or publishing is preferred
• Ability to work quickly on time-sensitive news creatives
• Strong attention to detail and a good sense of current design trends
• Creative mindset with the ability to work independently as well as with a team
