Video Editor & Motion Designer (Short-Form / Reels Specialist)

About the Role

SwipeUp Media Network is seeking a creative, skilled, and detail-driven Video Editor & Motion Designer to join our production team. In this role, you will lead the creation of high-retention short-form video content, including viral Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, influencer campaigns, and high-converting UGC ads.

If you master dynamic editing pacing, kinetic typography, scroll-stopping hooks, and cutting-edge AI generation tools, this role is built for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Short-Form Content Creation: Edit high-engagement Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and UGC video ads with strong initial hooks and smooth visual rhythm.
• Motion Graphics & Typography: Create custom kinetic typography, seamless transitions, dynamic lower thirds, and on-screen graphical elements.
• Sound Design & Audio Mixing: Implement punchy sound effects (SFX), trending background audio, clean voiceover leveling, and precise audio ducking.
• Influencer & Brand Campaigns: Cut, grade, and package promotional videos and creative collaborations for partner brands and creators.
• AI Tool Integration: Leverage generative AI tools for visual effects, assets, voiceovers, and background generation using effective prompt engineering.
• End-to-End Post-Production: Manage raw footage organization, rough assembly, color correction/grading, and timely final exports matching brand guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Core Software Expertise:
• DaVinci Resolve / Adobe Premiere Pro: Advanced timeline editing, multicam synchronization, audio mastering, and color grading.
• Adobe After Effects: Smooth motion graphics, masking, tracking, visual effects, and animated text templates.
• Adobe Photoshop: Asset separation, thumbnail creation, cleanup, and graphic composition.
• Creative Pacing & Retention: Proven understanding of retention-focused storytelling, modern hook structures, and dynamic visual pacing.
• AI Tool Proficiency: Hands-on experience generating creative assets and writing effective prompts with tools such as Runway, Midjourney, Kling AI, or ElevenLabs.
• Attention to Detail: Frame-accurate cuts, error-free caption typography, and consistent color rendition across platforms.

Compensation & Growth

• Salary Range: ₹18,000 – ₹25,000 / month (Strictly based on your portfolio, editing speed, and motion graphics proficiency).
• Opportunity to work on high-visibility influencer campaigns and scale with a growing media agency.
