About the Role

We're looking for a Video Editor to lead editing at Indian Farmer, with courses and educational content as the primary focus.

You'll edit high-quality educational content, improve editing workflows, and help raise the creative standard across our videos. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to build the editing function, not just edit videos.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit course videos and educational content in a clear, engaging instructional style
• Own storytelling, pacing, graphics, subtitles, sound design, colour grading, and final output quality.
• Build editing templates, SOPs, and efficient workflows.
• Use AI tools and modern workflows to improve speed and consistency.
• Support long-form, short-form, and podcast content when required.

Requirements

• Proven experience editing courses, educational, or explainer content.
• 2 to 6 years of professional video editing experience with a strong portfolio.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro. Experience with After Effects and Photoshop is preferred.
• Excellent written English is mandatory. Strong proficiency in Hindi is required. Marathi is a plus.
• Strong understanding of pacing, typography, sound design, colour grading, and motion graphics.
• Comfortable using AI tools to improve editing workflows.
• High ownership, reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
