Vice President - Sales & Marketing (Chhattisgarh Head) | Media & Publishing

Role Overview

We are looking for a high-impact Vice President Sales & Marketing (Chhattisgarh Head) to lead the states revenue charter for a leading media organization. This role will drive end-to-end sales strategy, market expansion, and integrated marketing efforts, with full ownership of state-level P&L across print, digital, and allied platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive revenue targets and P&L performance for Chhattisgarh
• Lead ad sales, circulation, and digital revenue streams
• Develop and execute state-level sales and go-to-market strategies
• Expand market presence across Raipur and key cities in Chhattisgarh
• Build and manage strong relationships with key clients, agencies, and partners
• Drive large deal closures, pricing strategy, and revenue optimization
• Collaborate with branding/editorial teams for integrated campaigns and monetization
• Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams
• Track market trends, competition, and consumer insights to refine strategy
• Ensure strong pipeline management, forecasting, and sales operations
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales and marketing team
• Drive cross-functional alignment to deliver on business growth objectives

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 18-22 years of experience in Sales & Marketing leadership roles
• Strong exposure to Media, Publishing, Radio, Digital Media, or Advertising sectors
• Proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing P&L at scale
• Deep understanding of ad sales, circulation, and digital monetization models
• Strong network across clients, agencies, and media ecosystem
• Strategic thinker with strong execution and leadership capabilities

Qualifications

• MBA in Sales / Marketing (preferred)
