Unreal Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Unreal Developer to join our MarTech team and create immersive, interactive, and real-time experiences for brands. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Unreal Engine 5, Blueprint scripting, C++, and real-time visualization. You will work closely with designers, 3D artists, project managers, and developers to build engaging experiences for events, activations, AR/VR, virtual production, and interactive installations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality interactive applications using Unreal Engine 5.
• Build and optimize real-time 3D experiences for experiential marketing campaigns.
• Implement gameplay mechanics and interactive features using Blueprints and C++.
• Integrate APIs, hardware devices, and third-party SDKs when required.
• Collaborate with 3D artists to integrate optimized assets, animations, lighting, and VFX.
• Optimize applications for performance across PC, touchscreens, kiosks, VR headsets, and large-format displays.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.
• Work closely with project managers to meet project timelines and deliverables.
• Stay updated with the latest Unreal Engine features and industry trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in Unreal Engine development.
• Strong proficiency in Unreal Engine 5.
• Excellent knowledge of Blueprint Visual Scripting.
• Good experience with C++ programming.
• Understanding of real-time rendering pipelines, shaders, lighting, and optimization.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Knowledge of UI implementation using UMG.
• Familiarity with animation systems, particle systems, and physics.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with VR, AR, MR, or XR applications.
• Knowledge of Pixel Streaming.
• Experience integrating APIs, databases, or IoT devices.
• Familiarity with Live Link, DMX, OSC, MQTT, or hardware integrations.
• Experience with multiplayer/networking.
• Understanding of nDisplay and multi-screen interactive experiences.
• Knowledge of OpenCV or computer vision integrations is a plus.
• Experience working in experiential marketing, gaming, virtual production, or interactive installations.
