Exp-6+ Yrs Location- Gurgaon(hybrid) Primary: Design System, Branding, Visual Design, Typography, Figma, Interaction Design, Prototyping Secondary: Storybook, Content design, Web Accessibility Key accountabilities: • Promote consistency and efficiency by collaborating closely with designers to deliver high quality design assets for our product, ensuring usability, visual excellence, accessibility, and optimization. • Work directly with product design, research and engineering teams to apply, evolve, and maintain our Design System in Tesco Media. • Define and refine design workflows between design system team and wider community of product designers. Recommend methodologies, and best practices to ensure efficiency and consistency within the design system team. Provide documentation and guidelines for designers to follow. • Facilitate communication and collaboration between design system design, product design, engineering, product management, and brand, aligning on goals, priorities, and timelines. • Design quality assurance (QA). Oversee the quality of design deliverables produced by the team, ensuring they meet established standards and guidelines. Conduct regular design reviews and provide constructive feedback to designers. • Establish and enforce governance policies for the design system, including version control, naming conventions, and design component documentation. Ensure that the design system remains consistent and scalable over time. • Evaluate, implement, and maintain design tools and systems that enhance productivity and collaboration within the team. • Continuously evaluate and optimize the design process and workflows to increase efficiency and effectiveness. • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, to ensure alignment on design goals and priorities. • Promote the adoption of the design system across the organisation through training, workshops, and evangelism efforts.
