Role Description The Travel Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. In this role, the consultant will advise individual and corporate clients on travel options, create customized itineraries, and manage complete travel plans across destinations and travel purposes. Day-to-day responsibilities include handling inquiries, preparing travel proposals, coordinating bookings for flights, hotels, ground transport, and tours, and ensuring all reservations and documentation are accurate and timely. The consultant will liaise with suppliers, process changes or cancellations, and provide proactive support before, during, and after travel. The role also involves maintaining client records, following company processes, and contributing to a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Travel Consulting and the ability to provide tailored advice based on client needs and preferences.
• Candidates should possess skills in Travel Management, including end-to-end itinerary planning and coordination for leisure and corporate travelers.
• Candidates should possess skills in Travel Arrangements, such as booking flights, accommodations, transport, tours, and handling visa-related documentation.
• Candidates should possess skills in Customer Service, with a focus on clear communication, problem resolution, and reliable support throughout the travel lifecycle.
• Candidates should possess skills in Reservations, including managing booking systems, monitoring availability, and ensuring accuracy of travel details.
• Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field are beneficial.
• Prior experience in a travel agency, corporate travel desk, or related travel services environment is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, basic financial understanding (quotations, budgets), and proficiency with travel booking tools and office software are advantageous.
• Ability to work on-site in Chennai, collaborate with a team, and manage multiple client requests in a fast-paced environment.
