Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and organized Transport Manager for the Rice Mills to oversee the transportation operations, vehicle management, and logistics coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day transportation and logistics operations.

Plan and coordinate vehicle allocation, routes, and delivery schedules.

Ensure timely pickup and delivery of goods between warehouses, vendors, and other locations.

Coordinate with transport vendors, drivers, and logistics partners.

Monitor vehicle availability, utilization, fuel consumption, and transportation costs.

Maintain records of vehicle movements, delivery schedules, transport expenses, and related documentation.

Ensure proper documentation, including invoices, delivery challans, e-way bills, and other applicable transport documents.

Track shipments and resolve delays, delivery issues, and other operational challenges.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of transportation, logistics, and fleet management.

Excellent coordination, planning, and organizational skills.

Good negotiation and vendor management abilities.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
