Job Description

• Advise clients on transactional tax matters related to renewable energy and climate projects
• Handle tax credit transactions involving IRC Sections 45, 45X, 45Y, 45Z, 48, and 48E
• Support tax equity, transferability, project finance, securitization, and corporate finance transactions
• Collaborate with corporate, finance, and project development teams on complex energy transactions
• Assist innovative energy clients with tax structuring and financing strategies

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• 1–3 years of transactional tax experience
• Experience with renewable energy tax credits or transactional tax matters
• Tax generalists with strong transactional experience are encouraged to apply
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills

Salary: $225,000 – $260,000 per year
