Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Thunderhead / SMARTCOMM Developer with 8 10 years of experience in document automation and output management. The candidate should have strong expertise in developing document templates, configuring Thunderhead/SMARTCOMM solutions, managing document repositories, integrating complex data models, and supporting end-to-end document production.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop sophisticated document templates, layouts, and Business Objects (BO) based on functional and business requirements.
• Develop and maintain document automation and output management solutions using Thunderhead / SMARTCOMM.
• Configure Thunderhead/SMARTCOMM environments and manage deployment of packaged resources across Development, Testing, and Production environments.
• Work with complex data models, XML, JavaScript, and SQL for document generation and processing.
• Perform DOM Repository maintenance and develop SQL scripts for document metadata creation, modification, and management.
• Develop and execute unit test cases and support functional/integration testing.
• Validate APIs and web services using tools such as SOAPUI and Postman.
• Troubleshoot document production, integration, repository, and deployment issues.
• Collaborate with designers, system integrators, application/support teams, and business stakeholders.
• Work effectively in Agile/SCRUM/SAFe environments.
• Maintain technical documentation and project artifacts using JIRA and Confluence.
• Use tools such as FileZilla and PuTTY for file transfer, server access, and deployment/support activities.
