Job Description
- Team Leadership and Mentorship : Lead and mentor a small team of UI developers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
- Guide the team in designing and building UIs and AR apps that are user-friendly, scalable, performant, and maintainable.
- Rapid Prototyping : Partner with UX/UI designers and product managers to rapidly prototype proof-of-concepts, dashboards, and workflows.
- Translate user needs and design mockups into high-quality Angular components.
- Technical Excellence : Establish and maintain high technical standards for code development.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, vulnerability testing practices, code quality guidelines, unit testing methodologies, and packaging best practices.
- Hands-on Development : Be a hands-on contributor to product engineering, dedicating approximately 90% of your time to coding activities.
- Develop clean, well-tested, and documented Angular code.
- Write unit tests using a chosen framework (Karma, Jasmine, Mocha, etc.) and strive for high code coverage.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work effectively with back-end developers, QA engineers, product managers, professional services, and other stakeholders.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Job Responsibilities
- Minimum of 8+ years of hands-on experience in UI development using front-end technologies like Angular (version 2+), HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Proven experience leading and mentoring UI development teams.
- 4+ years of experience in building Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) with Angular.
- Strong understanding of unit testing frameworks and experience with code coverage tools.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, API security principles, and service-oriented/microservices architecture (a plus).
- Experience with AR development tools and frameworks (desired, but not essential).
