Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant / Team Leader with strong expertise in Australian Taxation and Accounting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing Australian accounting and tax compliance assignments, preparing financial statements, handling client communication, and leading a team to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.

This role requires strong technical knowledge of Australian taxation laws, compliance processes, and accounting software, along with the ability to independently manage multiple client

engagements.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review

  • Individual Tax Returns
  • Company Tax Returns
  • Trust & Partnership Tax Returns
  • BAS / IAS filings
  • Prepare accurate Financial Statements and supporting reports
  • Ensure compliance with ATO regulations and Australian taxation requirements
  • Handle Payroll and Superannuation compliance activities
  • Work on Australian tax concepts including:
  • Division 7A
  • Capital Gains Tax (CGT)
  • Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT)
  • GST compliance
  • Coordinate directly with clients for queries, documentation, and advisory support
  • Review accounting work and maintain quality standards
  • Mentor and guide junior team members when required
  • Ensure timely completion of assignments and adherence to deadlines

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 7+ years of hands-on experience in Australian Accounting & Taxation
  • Strong technical understanding of Australian compliance and reporting standards
  • Hands-on experience with Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks
  • Ability to independently manage client communication and deliverables
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and time management abilities

Experience : 7 - 8

Timing : 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Working Shift : Day Shift (Onsite)
