Job Summary

Value Innovation Labs is hiring a Talend Developer with strong SQL, data modelling and Python skills for a leading enterprise client. You will build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines in Talend and develop Python-based automation to enhance scheduling and orchestration workflows.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines, batch jobs and streaming integrations using Talend
• Develop Python scripts, frameworks and automation utilities to support and enhance Tidal workflows
• Integrate Python logic with Tidal through APIs, dynamic job creation, metadata handling and log processing
• Build reusable Python modules for ingestion, validation, scheduling logic and orchestration
• Use Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, PySpark and Polars for data transformation
• Integrate with SQL/NoSQL databases, cloud storage, APIs and external systems
• Support CI/CD deployment of Python and Tidal configurations through Git and DevOps pipelines
• Write unit and integration tests and maintain code quality with tools like PyTest
• Apply object-oriented programming, design patterns and sound architecture practices

Desired Candidate Profile

• 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience as a Talend Developer (mandatory)
• Strong ANSI SQL and dimensional data modelling skills
• Working knowledge of Java for Talend customization
• Hands-on Python and PySpark experience
• Exposure to Tidal or similar job schedulers is a plus
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Good communication and teamwork skills
