Job Description & Responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day administration tasks for SUSE/RHEL Linux systems
  • Monitor system performance and resource utilization
  • Proactively identify and troubleshoot system issues, including file system capacity, consistency, and integrity
  • Respond to hardware-related problems such as CPU, RAM, and disk failures
  • Install, configure, and manage software applications
  • Automate tasks using Bash, Python, or Yaml scripting
  • Utilize SUSE Manager or Red Hat Satellite for system management
  • Configure and manage ZFS file systems
  • Implement and manage zones and container configurations
  • Manage cluster systems, including SUSE/Ubuntu/Red Hat clusters, ZFS appliances, and InfiniBand switches
  • Document procedures and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams to resolve complex technical issues
