SRE / Infrastructure DevOps Engineer

We are looking for an experienced SRE / Infrastructure DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Azure cloud services, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD automation, cloud security, and platform monitoring. You will work closely with development, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure operational excellence and platform reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
• Develop, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Deploy, manage, and support Azure services including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), App Services, Function Apps, Storage Accounts, and Azure SQL.
• Implement Azure security best practices, including RBAC, Managed Identities, Key Vault, Private Endpoints, and Azure Policy governance.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and Microsoft Sentinel.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and production issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and operational tasks to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with development, security, and infrastructure teams to deliver secure and scalable cloud solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks.
• Ensure cloud environments comply with security, governance, and organizational standards.
• Continuously improve platform performance, automation, and operational reliability.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native services.
• Experience with Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep for Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience building and maintaining Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or GoLang.
• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure PaaS services.
• Good understanding of Azure networking, monitoring, and cloud governance.
• Hands-on experience implementing Azure security features such as RBAC, Managed Identities, Key Vault, Private Endpoints, and Azure Policies.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
• Good troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of IT Infrastructure or Cloud Engineering experience.
• Minimum 12 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Azure Certifications are preferred:

AZ-104 Azure Administrator

AZ-305 Azure Solutions Architect

AZ-400 Azure DevOps Engineer

AZ-500 Azure Security Engineer

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience working in Enterprise Cloud, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) environments.
• Strong automation mindset with a focus on reliability and scalability.

• Self-driven, proactive, and capable of handling production-critical environments.
• Passion for continuous learning and adopting modern cloud technologies.

• This role is based in Bengaluru.
