SENIOR SITE ENGINEER – JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Senior Site Engineer to supervise and manage construction activities at project sites. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day construction activities at the project site.
• Manage and coordinate civil and structural works as per approved drawings.
• Ensure construction work is completed according to project specifications and schedules.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and project management teams.
• Review drawings, BOQs, specifications, and technical documents.
• Monitor site measurements and ensure proper execution of quantities.
• Check the quality of materials and workmanship at the site.
• Coordinate with the Quantity Surveying, Purchase, Quality Control, and Project Management teams.
• Plan manpower, materials, equipment, and resources required for site activities.
• Identify and resolve technical and site-related issues promptly.
• Conduct regular site inspections and maintain proper site records.
• Prepare daily and periodic progress reports.
• Ensure proper implementation of safety procedures and site regulations.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure timely completion of assigned works.
• Verify work progress and assist in measurements and billing.
• Ensure proper coordination between different construction activities to avoid delays.
• Maintain construction documentation, checklists, and inspection records.
• Follow company standards, procedures, and project timelines.
• Report project progress, delays, technical issues, and requirements to the Project Manager.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in building construction.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction methods and site execution.
• Experience in handling residential / commercial / high-rise construction projects is preferred.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD and construction drawings.
• Knowledge of BOQ, measurements, estimation, and billing.
• Good leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage site teams and subcontractors effectively.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Preferred Skills

• AutoCAD knowledge.
• MS Excel and MS Office proficiency.
• Knowledge of construction planning and scheduling.
• Knowledge of quality control and safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
• Strong knowledge of building construction and finishing works.

Salary

₹35,000 – ₹50,000 per month

Salary will be based on experience and expertise.
