Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Senior QA engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for working with development teams and product managers to test software solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities

Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.

Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.​

Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.

Setup testing SoPs to ensure catch 95% of all bugs before it reaches the clients in the first 6 months.

Hire and train at least 3 QA engineers in the first 6 months.

Leverage LLMs (gen-AI) to set-up testing pipeline to increase basic testing productivity by 50% in the first 6 months.

Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.

Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.

5+ years of experience as a software QA engineer.

Should have led multiple teams and have worked on large scale projects.

Robust knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.

Hands-on experience with both white box, black box testing and automated testing tools.

Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.

Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
