Position: Senior Python Backend Engineer

Location: India Remote - Lucknow or Nagpur preferred

Experience: 8+ Years

Overview

We are looking for a Senior Backend Python Engineer to build and lead core backend services for a highly scalable, data-intensive platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and own scalable backend & computation services.
• Build configuration-driven and reusable systems.
• Develop complex SQL queries and efficient data models.
• Ensure systems are accurate, reliable, reproducible, and auditable.
• Work on multi-tenant, multi-cloud, and customer-hosted environments.
• Drive architecture, code reviews, technical decisions, and mentor engineers.
• Collaborate with Data, AI, and Product teams.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Strong backend engineering experience with Python, FastAPI and Bash.
• Excellent SQL & data modeling skills.
• Strong system design, scalability, and performance expertise.
• Experience with configuration-driven/rules-based architectures.
• Strong focus on quality, testing, and system reliability.
