Cohere operates teams in the U.S. and Hyderabad.### The roleThis Senior Product Designer position sits within Cohere's design team in Hyderabad. You would own end-to-end design for complex product areas, working alongside product managers, engineers, researchers, data teams, and operations. The role requires on-site presence in Hyderabad.### What you would do* Lead end-to-end design for complex product areas, from framing problems through polished delivery and iteration* Create user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes to communicate ideas and validate solutions* Partner with product managers, engineers, researchers, data teams, and operations throughout discovery, delivery, and iteration* Design intuitive, accessible, and visually polished experiences for complex enterprise healthcare workflows* Contribute to the design system by using shared components, identifying gaps, proposing improvements, and helping maintain consistency across products* Collaborate with engineers to ensure designs are technically feasible, accessible, and implemented with high quality* Participate in design critiques, giving and receiving feedback that raises the quality of work across the team* Use AI tools to accelerate design research, generate concepts, connect Figma designs with front-end implementation, and rapidly prototype ideas* Continuously explore emerging AI capabilities and modern design workflows to improve quality, efficiency, and team velocity### What they are looking for* 5+ years of experience in software product design with ownership of end-to-end product experiences* Experience designing enterprise digital products (healthcare, fintech, analytics, or similarly complex domains is a plus)* Strong interaction design, visual design, and information architecture skills* Experience collaborating with cross-functional agile teams (Product, Engineering, Design, Research, QA)* Experience contributing to or working within an established design system* Familiarity with frontend technologies (Material Design, React, HTML/CSS, Design Tokens) to collaborate effectively with engineers* Demonstrated fluency with AI-powered design and development tools (such as Claude Code, Cursor, Figma AI, or similar)* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, HCI, Human Factors, or equivalent experience* A portfolio demonstrating strong problem framing, user-centered design process, visual craft, interaction design, and measurable product impact* Clear, concise English communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions to designers, engineers, and senior stakeholders* Strong conceptual thinking that balances user needs, product strategy, business goals, engineering constraints, and long-term scalability* Nice-to-have: experience designing for healthcare; experience contributing to the evolution of a design system### Working arrangementsThe role is based on-site in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Candidates are expected to reliably commute or relocate before starting work.
