Sr DevOps Engineer – GCP/AWS

Role description

Role Overview

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with strong experience in Jenkins CI/CD and GCP/AWS cloud environments. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, automating cloud deployments, and implementing monitoring, logging, and security best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, with strong hands-on experience in Declarative Pipeline syntax.
• Automate application deployment, scaling, and infrastructure management across GCP services, including GKE, Cloud Run, Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, VPC, and Cloud Functions.
• Integrate application development workflows with CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments in collaboration with development teams.
• Implement and manage logging, monitoring, and observability solutions for cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Apply cloud security best practices, policies, and compliance requirements across the GCP environment.
• Troubleshoot and optimize CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and cloud infrastructure issues.
• Document deployment processes, configurations, technical solutions, and architectural decisions.
• Stay current with emerging GCP services, DevOps tools, and CI/CD best practices.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with GCP or AWS.
• Strong hands-on experience with Jenkins.
• Expertise in Jenkins Declarative Pipelines.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and implementation.
• Experience in cloud deployment automation and DevOps practices.

Good to Have

• Experience with Kubernetes / GKE.
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
• Experience with cloud monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
• Knowledge of cloud security and compliance practices.
• Scripting experience with Shell/Bash or Python.

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant DevOps / Cloud experience.
