Sr. Data Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Data Engineer with 10+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in PySpark, Hadoop ecosystem, and Power BI to build robust data pipelines, optimize data processing, and deliver business intelligence solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data pipelines and ETL processes using PySpark.
• Work with Hadoop technologies to manage and process large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
• Build and optimize data models, data warehouses, and reporting solutions.
• Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to support business decision-making.
• Ensure data quality, performance tuning, scalability, and reliability of data platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
• Implement data governance, security, and best practices across the data ecosystem.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering and Big Data technologies.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in PySpark and Hadoop.
• Experience in designing and developing Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
• Proficiency in SQL and performance optimization techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Knowledge of data governance and modern data architecture frameworks.
